When you arrive in New Zealand you should follow these instructions carefully so that our member of staff can find you: Your host family (OR Auckland Edinburgh College staff) will arrive to meet you, at the Auckland International Airport, 30 minutes after the flight has landed. This will give you time to clear customs. Go to the Arrivals lounge (The FAMILY & FRIENDS Area), please DO NOT TURN LEFT!! The person meeting you will hold up a sign with your name on it as they wait in the FAMILY & FRIENDS arrival area. If you cannot find your name, then please wait in front of McDonalds which is located in the meeting area, it is easy to see.

Airport Pick up Instructions

You will be met by either an Auckland Edinburgh College Staff member or your Homestay family.
If you are not met by your host, the greeter will contact school and the Homestay to tell them you have arrived. The greeter will take you either to the school or immediately to your homestay.

Group Arrivals

If there are two or more students arriving together, make sure that each student in the group knows about the pickup procedure. STAY TOGETHER. If one of you is held up in customs, send one person on to tell the greeter what is happening.

Problems

If there is a problem at the airport OR you are lost and unable to find the person meeting you: Telephone the numbers below. OR
